La Mercedeath: a storytelling journey into the Betweenworld at Samhain

On Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Compagnie Nanaqui invites you to climb aboard an old white Mercedes for an extraordinary experience. 🚗 As part of Samhain – Festival of the Dead and the Betweenworld 2026, Mercedeath is a storytelling entresort, intimate and unusual, dedicated to our relationship with death. In small groups of one or two people, the living get into the car and let themselves be driven on a journey populated with stories, myths, and presences. There are only a few seats on board, and fifteen minutes to cross the Betweenworld… Rest assured: everyone should come back… but perhaps not quite the same as before… ✨

Around the car, a small deadly constellation invites you to extend the experience. At L'Atelier des épitaphes (The Epitaph Workshop), you can ask yourself what phrase you would like to leave behind: solemn, tender, funny, angry, or deliciously absurd… At L'Arbre messager (The Messenger Tree), you can entrust a memory, a name, or a few words to a dead person. And at La Petite Bibliothèque mortelle (The Little Deadly Library), you can browse books about death, rituals, mourning, and transmission. 📚

Departures are continuous, subject to available seats, for a crossing of about 15 minutes. An experience to look death in the face, tell it a few stories, and, who knows, come out of it a little more alive… So, shall we meet at Samhain – Festival of the Dead and the Betweenworld 2026?
