It all started with a show, "Ballades funambules" (Funambulist Ballads). Jean-Luc Amestoy wrote the songs – lyrics and music. Acrobats moved on their tightropes, speaking of a world off-balance and ways to lift a foot to stay standing. The Duo Suspensif is the schooner after the ocean liner: just voice and accordion. It sways, it jostles us, what will we sing to give ourselves courage?

You can dine from 7:30 PM. Le BàO funds its programming partly through profits from its bar-restaurant. So remember to book: https://ib.guestonline.fr/ins.../bookings/6227/yr3faXipsY...

If you choose to come only for the concert, it will start at 9:15 PM (sharp)

The Duo Suspensif features compositions by Jean-Luc Amestoy, served by Mélanie Fossier's voice. Between sky and earth, joy of being alive and worry, nursery rhymes and waltzes leave a taste of wind in the ears, spark desires for freedom… French chanson? If you like; but shaken by improvised disturbances, vocal acrobatics, suspended moments where breath stops. The songs find their way, between whispers and crashes; the accordion plays its diva and the singer takes flight…

Also to tell you that Le Bouche à Oreille is a collective interest cooperative that programs every week and all year round, concerts, exhibitions, meetings… This programming with free access for the public is 100% self-financed, by our bar-restaurant activity and by a collective participation you can join. It's called Amacca and we explain it all here: https://lebao.fr/amacca/
