As a famous mimosa grower reminds us: "The mimosa that illuminates, perfumes, and delights will always remain the symbol of the French Riviera. It is the only flower that brings the brilliance of its colors and the delicacy of its fragrance right in the middle of winter."
The route crosses several mimosa and eucalyptus plantations in the commune of Tanneron.
From mid-January to mid-March, the hills on the heights of Tanneron are covered in yellow: it's the peak season for mimosas. The cultivation of this flower developed over a century ago in symbiosis with the perfume industry in Grasse.
